Dawlish & Teignmouth
Dawlish has a bustling town centre and a fantastic, long sandy beach from where you can take boat trips around the bay. Teignmouth boasts a traditional Victorian pier, a pleasant promenade, lido, pretty parks and a heritage centre.
Brixham & Babbacombe Model Village
Bustling Brixham is home to a life size replica of Sir Francis Drake’s Golden Hind that has been a feature in the marina for over fifty years. There are also pleasure boat trips and an expansive breakwater that’s simply perfect for a stroll. We continue to Babbacombe Model Village where you’ll find miniature scenes of Britain through the decades with incredible attention to detail, all set amidst an astonishing four acres of gardens. This award winning attraction is the UK’s largest model village and you’ll find replicas of places such as Bath’s Royal Crescent, Shakespeare’s birthplace, cityscapes and a fabulous railway.
Dartmouth & River Dart Cruise
We travel to delightful Dartmouth where you might like to wander along the riverside embankment, browse the gift shops and galleries, or view the 600-year-old castle. Here we embark on an enjoyable cruise on the River Dart, sailing us past Kingswear, the Britannia Royal Naval College, the tiny village of Dittisham, Sir Walter Raleigh’s boathouse and Agatha Christie’s Greenway House.
