Norwich 
Built around an impressive Norman castle, Norwich is a compact, easy to explore city with an enchanting jumble of medieval alleyways, almost every one of which tells a story. With historic churches, a host of attractions, Victorian and Georgian architecture as well as the magnificent cathedral, you’ll find lots to see and do. Along cobbled Elm Hill you’ll find striking half-timbered Tudor dwellings, inviting antique shops and tearooms. Perhaps visit Plantation Garden and don’t miss the 900-year-old castle, home to a museum and art gallery. 
Cromer & Sheringham 
We head to Cromer, a traditional seaside resort on the Norfolk coast with a sand and shingle beach. Perhaps visit the Grade II listed pier, where you’ll find a lifeboat station and a Pavilion Theatre. The town’s 14th century St Peter & St Paul Church is unmissable with its 160-foot tower piercing the sky. Next to the church is Cromer Museum, housed in a fisherman’s cottage with displays of historic photographs and an incredible collection of fossils. Later, we move on to Sheringham, a quaint little resort with a seafront museum that tells the town’s history through its people and boats. 
Norfolk Broads Cruise & Bure Valley Railway 
We head to the adorable village of Horning to board the double deck Southern Comfort Mississippi Paddle Boat for a memorable river experience. We sail along the River Bure, through the village and out to Ranworth Broad passing thatched cottages, windmills and reed beds while listening to commentary. Afterwards, we continue to Wroxham for free time. Later, it’s all aboard the nostalgic Bure Valley Railway steam train for a spectacular nine-mile ride through the picture postcard Norfolk countryside to Aylsham – truly a day to remember!
