The bonnie Isle of Arran crams the best of the mainland into an area just twenty miles long and ten miles wide. Main attraction is Brodick Castle & Gardens, a Victorian estate and National Trust Property that stands dramatically against the backdrop of Goat Fell Mountain. This majestic fortress boasts breathtaking views across the bay and houses impressive collections of period furniture, paintings and sporting trophies. We also visit the harbour town of Stranraer, pop into Portpatrick and explore marvellous Millport on the tiny island of Great Cumbrae. Our base is the Britannia Adamton Country House Hotel, a historic manor near Prestwick.
Tucked away in a country estate near Prestwick, this historic manor with modern annexe retains many period features and has an oak panelled bar with snooker tables. Please note there are no lifts but lots of ground floor rooms available.
