Extending over much of County Wicklow on the east coast of Ireland, the picturesque Wicklow Mountains National Park boasts a landscape of chocolate box vistas showcasing untamed forests, twisting mountain roads, fast flowing streams and lush valleys. Out and about we visit cosmopolitan Dublin, home to countless attractions such as the Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College, St Patrick’s Cathedral, numerous traditional pubs and the atmospheric cobbled tangle of shops and eateries known as Temple Bar. We also enjoy a feast for our senses at Powerscourt Gardens, discover Stone Age settlements at Lullymore Heritage Park and experience the glitz of Hollywood at the Silverware Museum of Style Icons. We stay at the incredibly welcoming Hamlet Court Hotel, the epitome of Irish hospitality and winner of Glenton Hotel of the Year for two years running!
Powerscourt Gardens, Avoca, Glendalough & the Wicklow Mountains
Our day begins at the magnificent Powerscourt Gardens (entry included) where lush flowerbeds and shrubbery sit alongside striking statues linked by carefully designed walkways. We round off this day of delights in the verdant valley of Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains National Park, a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty.
We enjoy a guided tour of dynamic Dublin that will help you get your bearings for an afternoon of free time to explore. Perhaps you’ll just stroll the ancient streets, marveling at the enchanting blend of medieval, Georgian and contemporary architecture. Learn about Celtic storytelling and superstition in the quirky National Leprechaun Museum or treat yourself to a pint of the black stuff in The Brazen Head, a pub that dates back to the twelfth century.
Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park and Newbridge Silverware Centre & Museum of Style Icons
The multi-award winning Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park is set on sixty acres of picturesque landscape with woodland trails and gardens. Discover Irish heritage and culture with the parks interactive multi-media and at the replica dwellings and exhibitions. We continue to Newbridge Silverware Centre & Museum of Style Icons where you’ll find collections from celebrities such as
