JERSEY - TRIP ADVISOR - Travellers Choice Award Winner 2015
Our fascinating walking tours, hosted by Arthur Lamy take us off the beaten track to places such as the fishing village of St Aubin, La Corbiere viewpoint, St Catherine’s Breakwater and Bouley Bay – all in the company of a local guide who will regale you with tales of the island’s past including the German war tunnels and Neolithic landmarks.
Guided Walking Tour of St Helier
Our half day walking tour takes in the Town Hall, Fish Market and the Victorian Central Market. Learn all about the fishermen’s huts, the Honorary Police and the island’s unusual relationship with the monarchy along with tales about the famous cows.
Guided Walking Tour from St Aubin to La Corbiere
Our day begins at St Aubin, home to a pub where Karl Marx once stayed and the ancient seat of the Seigneurs of Franc Fief. Our walk takes us alongside a disused railway line to the lighthouse at La Corbiere. After lunch, we continue to the flat sands St Ouen’s Bay.
Guided walk of Bouley Bay to St Catherine’s Breakwater
Beginning at the charming north coast harbour of Bouley Bay, this coastal route, takes in views of mainland France as we wind our way to our lunch stop in the tiny fishing hamlet of Rozel. In the afternoon, we follow the coast via sandy tracks and quiet lanes, passing Fliquet Bay before descending to the impressive St Catherine’s Breakwater.
