Take in scintillating sights from the saddle as you power along the riverbanks of the Rhine and Moselle on a captivating cruise.
Highlights include Andernach, a little gem that is home to the world’s highest cold water spouting geyser, Cochem where snaking streets of wine taverns are tucked below imposing Reichsburg Castle and Boppard has a chairlift that gently glides you up to an attractive viewpoint. Rudesheim boasts historical treasures while historic Koblenz nestles at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle.
Thursday. We head to Hull for our overnight ferry to the continent enjoying dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board.
Friday. We pause at the Dutch town of Valkenburg then continue to Cologne to board the Prinses Christina.
Saturday. We depart Cologne, sailing to Bonn where you can choose to remain on board and cruise onwards to Andernach or hop aboard the bike provided and cycle the twenty-seven miles to this quaint town. En route you will pass Königswinter, home to the Schloss Drachenburg - a fairytale palace on the Drachenfels. Your ship will arrive in Andernach late afternoon – perhaps visit the world´s biggest cold water geyser with its fountain soaring to over sixty metres.
Sunday. Today our ship glides us to Winningen where again you have the choice of staying on board and sailing to Cochem or cycling the seventeen miles to this traditional German village. En route you will pass storybook Castle Eltz, a romantic palace dating from the 12th century. Take time to visit the incomparable Reichsburg fortress during your free time in Cochem.
Monday. Our cruise continues to Boppard, a pretty town bursting with medieval charm. Continue sailing to Rudesheim or take to your bike and pedal the twenty-eight miles along the popular Rhine Cycle Path to this fun-filled resort.
Tuesday. Depart Rudesheim early morning for your cycle or cruise to Koblenz forty miles away. Koblenz has a modern cable car that takes you up to an ancient fortress and is famous for its German Corner, a square watched over by a gigantic statue of Kaiser Wilhelm. Later we sail back to Cologne and tuck into our farewell dinner.
Wednesday. We disembark after breakfast and head for the ferry back to Hull enjoying dinner, entertainment and breakfast on board. thursday. We continue home.
This tastefully furnished ship includes a forward lounge on the Promenade Deck, with a dance floor and bar area, and a separate restaurant on the Cabin Deck. There is a spacious open-air Sun Deck, which is partially covered.

Our much-loved free Door to Door service is available on all Glenton Palmer Select coach tours of four days or longer and many of our AIR & CRUISE holidays. A home collection may still be available from outside these areas but a supplement will apply.
Where advertised this free service it may be necessary to share your vehicle with other passengers on your tour. The pick-up will be at the address of the lead name on your booking. Additional pick-ups may be requested at a supplement of £20 per person. You will be driven from your home to a coach pick-up point and, on occasion, you may have to transfer to another vehicle before boarding the coach. Unfortunately, for operational and administrative reasons, Door to Door service may not be available for bookings made within 21 days of departure.
After listening carefully to the feedback of our valued customers, we have taken on board that as seasoned travellers, many of you already have your own annual travel policy.
