A highlight of our exciting itinerary is a visit to the notorious Eagles Nest - Hitler’s renowned retreat. This daunting structure is perched high on a mountain peak in the Bavarian Alps and accessed via a brass lift through the heart of the mountain. Another gem is an excursion to the landmark resort of Kitzbuhel, a medieval town with an alpine flower garden, fifteenth century church and a museum telling the story of the region.

Afterwards, we enjoy some free time in the picturesque town of Berchtsgaden.
Friday. Our treat today is St. Johann, an area of natural beauty embedded in the sunny Leukental valley and surrounded by the snow-topped peaks of the Kitzbüheler Horn and Wilder Kaiser mountain range. The picturesque villages of the region nestle amidst an enchanting blend of mighty summits, lush meadows, Alpine lakes and inns serving local specialties. Perhaps visit the museum with its contemporary arts showcasing local history.
