The enchanting Black Forest region brings to mind visions of ancient, thickset woodland, shimmering ponds and fairytale villages with welcoming beer gardens. Our holiday is based in Oberharmersbach, a chocolate box hamlet in the heart of the Black Forest with a relaxed rustic charm. We make the most of our time in this gorgeous part of Europe with visit to delights such as Triberg, home to Germany’s highest waterfall where the River Gutach thunders down. We also spend time in the refined spa town of Baden-Baden which hugs the banks of the River Oos and has a reputation as a hang-out for the rich and famous. Another holiday highlight is our day taking in pretty Freiburg, Germany’s southernmost major town, then continuing onwards to the glittering waters of Lake Titisee.
Set in the heart of the pretty village of Oberharmersbach, the family run Baren Hotel simply burts with Black Forest charisma with it's style and decor. Facilities include spacious public areas and an inviting beer garden with terrance.
