Overview

Gasp at beautiful coastal scenery and experience fascinating history and culture as we sail into the sunset on this dreamy summertime cruise. Orkney boasts inspirational landscapes where verdant fields tumble down to secluded beaches and powerful seas crash against towering cliffs. This endless feast for the senses takes us to the circle of standing stones known as the Ring of Brodgar, the pretty harbour of Stromness and Skara Brae, a Stone Age settlement that predates the Pyramids. Romantic Shetland is equally beautiful with a craggy coastline studded with arches and caves. Ancient Lerwick, county town of the Shetlands boasts Jarlshof – one of the most remarkable archaeological sites ever excavated and home to Bronze Age, Viking and Medieval settlements. This scenic holiday includes an overnight stay in the north of Scotland before we explore these enchanting islands aboard a stylish Northlink Ferry.
