Easter treats include a sightseeing cruise on Loch Linnhe aboard the Souter Lass enhanced by fascinating commentary as well as a nostalgic train journey on the Strathspey Steam Railway to Aviemore and a trip on the West Highland Line to Mallaig. Our base is the Duke of Gordon Hotel, a former eighteenth century estate in Kingussie.
This eighteenth century estate and former coaching inn is now a luxury hotel offering refined hospitality in a delightful corner of the Cairngorms National Park. It was once visited by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and it’s Balmoral Restaurant features corniced ceilings and murals depicting Highland history.
