“New Year, New Me!”
Yes, it’s that time of year when we all make a New Year resolution that we just know we’re not going to keep! So why do we do it? I guess we all hope we can make a better version of ourselves.
With the Old Year going out, and a New Year coming in, it seems like a natural time to make improvements and changes in one’s life. So we asked our Glenton employees what their resolution will be for 2019. Half the staff resolved to stop making resolutions! (Clearly they don’t believe in making change to improve themselves!)
This year’s top 3 resolutions are:
- Attend gym
- Lose weight
- Be more organised – both a home and at work
Whilst many had general resolutions, our very own Lindsey decided to improve our environment by resolving to “cut down on my use of plastics by making more of a conscious effort when doing my weekly shop to not buy fruit and vegetables that are already pre-packed in single use plastic and also to try and recycle more household waste”.
Congratulations to Lindsey for her environmentally friendly decision! New Year resolutions may not be for all but it’s definitely a good way to start making changes!
